Kylian Mbappé speaks on Barcelona’s explosive start to the season | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this week provided his take on the spectacular start to the campaign being enjoyed by arch rivals Barcelona.

This of course comes fresh off another outing to remember for Hansi Flick’s troops on Wednesday.

After welcoming Racing Santander to the Spotify Camp Nou for a La Liga clash, Barca ran riot, to the tune of an eventual 7-2 triumph. This made it seven wins from seven across all competitions to open the term. Not only that, but along the way, the Blaugrana have averaged just shy of five goals scored per game.

In addition, they have opened an early three-point advantage over main challengers Real Madrid in the race for Spanish football supremacy.

Speaking during an interview with Diario AS on Thursday, the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé was therefore asked for his take on the ongoing brilliance in Catalunya’s capital.

The Frenchman, though, was keen to play the subject down, assuring:

”Barça have started strongly? Good for them. I don’t like talking about other teams because I am not there. They’re winning games, but it’s the beginning of the season.”
