Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this week tipped teammate and attacking partner-in-crime Carlos Espí to go on to enjoy a fruitful stint in the colours of Los Blancos.

This of course comes fresh off an evening to remember for the summer arrival in Spain’s capital in midweek.

Introduced off the bench late in a La Liga meeting with Elche with Real Madrid searching for an all-important winner, Espí responded with precisely that.

This marked the 2nd occasion already this season on which the 21-year-old has spared the blushes of José Mourinho’s troops courtesy of a last-gasp winner.

The aforementioned Kylian Mbappé was the player responsible for teeing up Espí’s strike, and the Frenchman evidently sees huge potential in his young teammate.

Drawn on Espí’s name during an interview with Diario AS (as cited by Fabrizio Romano) this week, Mbappé assured:

“Carlos Espí will score a lot of goals, a lot… I am telling you. The guy has very good instincts.”
