Lamine Ndiaye arrives in Algeria
Lamine Ndiaye is expected to take the helm at USM Alger. The Senegalese coach was spotted today, February 19, in the streets of the Algerian capital.
As reported three days ago, an agreement has been reached between Lamine Ndiaye and USM Alger. The Senegalese tactician has landed in Algeria to sign his contract. Journalist Micky Jnr shared a photo showing the former Senegal national team coach in Algeria.
Just two weeks after his departure from TP Mazembe, the 69-year-old coach is expected to sign a six-month contract with an option for a one-year extension. His vast experience and deep knowledge of African football could be the key to reviving the Algerian giant’s title hopes in the domestic league—and, crucially, give them a realistic chance of overcoming the major hurdle in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
