Late Kelman penalty denies Oxford, who climb to 20th

Oxford United and Charlton Athletic drew 1-1 at the Kassam Stadium, a result that lifts Oxford from 22nd to 20th in the Championship.
In the 56th minute, Will Lankshear was fouled by Kayne Ramsay to win a penalty. Cameron Brannagan converted from the spot (57.).
Charlton introduced Charlie Kelman on the hour and he later took centre stage.
Ciaron Brown fouled Lloyd Jones to concede a late penalty, and Kelman converted in the third minute of second half stoppage time.
There was a brief stoppage for treatment to Jamie Cumming shortly before the equaliser.
Charlton controlled 61.9% possession but mustered only one effort on target. Oxford produced eight attempts and three corners.
Oxford United rise to 20th. Charlton Athletic remain 17th. Next, Oxford visit Southampton. Charlton host Norwich City.
