Lazio confirm full pre-season plan at Formello, six friendlies set | OneFootball

Lazio have set out their full pre-season programme at Formello, confirming six friendlies under new head coach Gennaro Gattuso.

The club said in a statement that players will begin reporting on Thursday the ninth of July, with the opening three days reserved for medicals and athletic tests. After 17 summers in Auronzo di Cadore, the club stuck with last year’s switch to the training centre.

Training starts on Monday 13 July under Gattuso and his staff, with morning and afternoon sessions for the first two weeks until 26 July, all behind closed doors.

From Wednesday 29 July, the second phase begins, with selected fans allowed into training and given the chance to meet the squad.

Six warm-ups are scheduled, starting against the Primavera on Monday 20 July at six pm, behind closed doors on the central pitch at the SS Lazio Training Center. Flaminia Civita Castellana then visit on Sunday 26 July at six pm, and Avellino on Saturday the first of August at eleven am, both at the Mirko Fersini Stadium with fans admitted.

Ascoli host Lazio on Sunday the second of August at eight forty-five pm at the Cino and Lillo Del Duca Stadium. Lazio then face Ostiamare on Wednesday the fifth of August at six pm at the Mirko Fersini Stadium, before an away trip to newly promoted Frosinone on Sunday the ninth of August at eight forty-five pm at the Benito Stirpe Stadium, their only top-flight opponent.
