Lazio are pursuing Bayern Munich prospect Jonathan Asp Jensen, with progress reported in Denmark and Italy.

The 20-year-old grew up in Gauerslund in Denmark, coming through Vejle Boldklub and FC Midtjylland before joining Bayern in summer 2022.

He spent last season on loan at Grasshoppers, becoming a key figure with nine goals and six assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.

Right-footed, he is primarily an attacking midfielder but can drop deeper or play as an inverted left winger. If Gennaro Gattuso opts for a 4-2-3-1, he could operate behind the striker, a role Lazio currently lack.

Transfermarkt values him at four million euros, while Bayern's asking price remains to be seen. He is due back in Munich this summer with a contract to June 2028.
