Le Mans open talks to sign Habib Diallo from Metz

Le Mans have opened talks to sign Senegal striker Habib Diallo from Metz, L'Équipe reports.

The promoted side want a centre-forward to aid survival and increase competition for Louis Mafouta, Antoine Rabillard and Dame Gueye.

Diallo, 31, is a Senegal international with 39 caps and 9 goals, and is under contract with the Lorraine club until 2028.

He has not been included in the Metz squad for Saturday afternoon’s L2 matchday four trip to Annecy.

Diallo is interested in the Le Mans project, though he is also on the radar of a club in Türkiye.
