Leao is poised to leave Milan for Galatasaray after turning down moves in England and Italy, in a deal worth 45 million euros.
Sky Sport reports that the clubs have finalised an agreement, with Galatasaray to pay 43 million euros plus two million in bonuses, and Milan retaining 20% of profit from any future sale.
The Portugal international initially prioritised the Premier League. Aston Villa came closest with a verbal offer worth seven and a half million euros a year, but no formal bid arrived and it fell short of his financial demands.
Galatasaray kept increasing their proposal and won his approval with an ambitious plan. He will sign a contract to 2030 worth 10 million euros a year plus bonuses.
Only the medical and final paperwork remain before the move is sealed. It would end his Rossoneri chapter and start a new one with the Turkish champions.
Few transfers in the history of the Turkish league can match this, a statement of intent from Galatasaray and a message to rivals at home and in Europe.
