Lecce are extremely active on the transfer market in the final days of the summer window, bringing in Gaby Jean and Frederic Guilbert today.
The Salentini need a boost after losing both their Serie A games so far this season, failing to score a single goal against Atalanta and Inter.
They received a reinforcement this afternoon when 24-year-old defender Gaby Jean completed his transfer from French side Annecy.
His contract runs to June 2027, with an option to extend by a further two years.
Frederic Guilbert landed at the airport today and will undergo his medical tests before signing the contract.
The 29-year-old right-back can also play on the left or in central defence.
He makes the move from Strasbourg, having previously played for Aston Villa.
Guilbert is the replacement for Valentin Gendrey, who is in the process of completing his €10m transfer to TSG Hoffenheim.
The Salentini also announced they have terminated the contract of Zinedin Smajlovic by mutual consent.
