Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has revealed a fresh injury worry for his squad, as two key players near a return.
Leeds will travel to Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time on Monday night as they take on Everton. Last time out, Farke’s side claimed a valuable three points with a 1-0 victory over Fulham.
The coach claimed: “The group that was available for the last game, is more or less also available.”
However, there was some bad news to report. The German admitted: “Gabriel Gudmundsson is struggling after the last game, bit of adductor problems. So we have had to leave him out of the training today.
“He’s an important player for us, I of course hope that he is available for the game on Monday night. But a question mark on his availability.
“Apart from that, everyone came through the game without any problems.”
There was also positive news, with both Anton Stach and Daniel James nearing a return.
Farke revealed: “Yes, also good news form our rehab department. Anton was in team training today and no reaction so far. It looks like he could be available.
“Also good news from Daniel James. Yesterday and today part-integrated in team training. He is also pretty close to joining us back in full team training.
“Of course he was out for more than two months, a little bit more until he is really fit and ready for the games. But definitely good news from him.”
