Leeds United stretched their Premier League unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw at Tottenham, maintaining an away streak that dates to January. They were far from fluent in possession yet once again found a way to take something.

As reported by yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, warm-ups brought reunions and intent, from Michael Bridges greeting players to Ethan Ampadu geeing up team-mates, while Ao Tanaka and Anton Stach exchanged tactical cues and the away end roared through the final sprints. Within four minutes Farke was already quizzing the fourth official.

A high boot on Ampadu prompted a VAR review at the monitor, with James Justin signalling for a penalty while the Leeds captain argued the toss with Richarlison. The challenge left a pronounced welt on his head, and he also won a penalty.

Jaka Bijol dominated crosses and used the ball neatly, while Ampadu’s bite drove Leeds through the night. Farke could savour a hard-earned point with safety already secured, but referee Jarred Gillett drew criticism for player-safety lapses and Archie Gray remained unused.

At half-time, fitness coach Chris Domogalla held words with Sam Byram, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Willy Gnonto.

Leeds celebrated with travelling fans at full-time, marking next season’s Premier League status, and in the mixed zone Ampadu jokingly scolded Joe Rodon for pinching his number 4 flip flops.
