Leeds United’s loanees face mixed run-ins, yet Max Wober’s campaign has only just begun with four games initially left. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the Werder Bremen defender had not played any 2025/26 league minutes until Sunday.
A hamstring injury sidelined the Austrian for 14 matches, he briefly returned to the bench, then another setback cost him 14 more. He finally made his Bundesliga debut with a 25-minute cameo against Stuttgart. Bremen sit 12th, with Freiburg, Bayern Munich and St Pauli to come.
In La Liga, Mateo Joseph’s Mallorca loan ended early with an ACL injury. Before that he started 19 league games, came on 10 times, scored twice and provided four assists. Mallorca are one point and one place above the drop zone with five to play.
Largie Ramazani has broken into Valencia’s XI since mid-February. After no starts before then, he has begun 10 in a row, scoring five, with four of those goals in wins that keep them five points clear of relegation.
Wober joined Leeds in January 2023 on a four-and-a-half-year deal to summer 2027. He exercised a loan clause after relegation to spend a season at Borussia Mönchengladbach, then two knee surgeries limited him last term to eight league appearances, two as starts. He has played 28 times for Leeds and a summer exit feels inevitable.
