Leeds United received an offer for Pascal Struijk in late August 2025, and it was the kind of sum which may have been entertained in June, according to The Athletic.

However, Leeds felt Struijk was too important to lose at the 11th hour, and he remained at the club.

The 26-year-old has been a key player under Whites manager Daniel Farke, featuring in 32 Premier League games this season.

Leeds have held on to their Premier League status despite flirting with relegation for a large chunk of the campaign,

However, their recruitment team has been hurt by missing out on Fulham star Harry Wilson.

The 29-year-old was the club’s main target on summer transfer deadline day, but Fulham refused to sell him, which was tough for Leeds to swallow.

Wilson has bagged ten goals and six assists in 34 league games, and only six players in the Premier League have been directly involved in more goals this term.

The Whites have taken heart in the fact that they were pursuing the right player, but it is unclear if they will go back for him this summer.

Wilson will be a free agent at the end of the season, and several clubs are currently monitoring his situation.

He could have been a Leeds player as the club reportedly put a private jet on standby to transport him to Yorkshire on summer transfer deadline day.

They met his asking price, but Fulham pulled the plug on the deal after they failed to sign Chelsea forward Tyrique George as his replacement.

Leeds had tabled an improved offer to sign him after the Craven Cottage club indicated that they wanted to renegotiate the terms.

An agreement was reached, resulting in the signing of a proposed deal sheet by Leeds and Wilson.

However, Fulham told the Whites that the transfer was off a few minutes before the deadline, as they wanted to sign a replacement first before allowing him to leave.
