Leeds United will enter the Carabao Cup in round two, with a midweek tie set to fall between their opening Premier League fixtures this month.

The EFL announced the round two draw will be shown live on Monday 10 August during the build-up to Plymouth Argyle vs Exeter City on Sky Sports Football, hosted by David Prutton with Jobi McAnuff and Jamie Mackie.

Daniel Farke’s side begin the 2026-27 league campaign away at Nottingham Forest on Saturday 22 August, then host Brentford on Sunday 30 August, a match moved for Sky Sports coverage.

Second-round ties are scheduled for the week commencing Monday 24 August, so United can expect a Tuesday or Wednesday night cup outing between Forest and Brentford.

The competition introduces the 11 Premier League clubs not in Europe at this stage and remains regionalised until round three.

First-round fixtures take place this weekend.
