Leicester City are sitting on an absolute goldmine - 3 Foxes players could make them millions.

Leicester City experienced a relatively quiet summer transfer window following their return to the Championship.

The Foxes made just one permanent signing in the form of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on a free transfer, accompanied by loan deals for Aaron Ramsey, Jordan James and Julián Carranza.

Despite this, Marti Cifuentes’ side have made the best start to life back in the second-tier out of the three relegated teams from the Premier League, picking up nine points from their opening four games.

The slow-moving nature of Leicester City’s transfer window was accompanied by a backdrop of potential embargoes and penalties due to PSR worries, which explains why there was more of a focus on moving players out of the King Power Stadium.

Mads Hermansen, Kasey McAteer and Bilal El Khannouss were all notable exits, but it could be argued that the Foxes managed to keep hold of their highest-value stars.

Within the current Leicester City camp are three operators who could allow the club to make a fortune in transfer windows to come, which will be an encouraging position for Cifuentes and Co. to be in.

Jeremy Monga

Monga has emerged in the Leicester City first team in the past few months, and already has a certain element of stardust surrounding him.

His name was immediately rife in the nation’s headlines following his Premier League debut against Newcastle United in April, at just 15 years and 271 days old.

This made him the second-youngest player to appear in the division at that time, bested by just Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri, before another Gunners academy graduate, Max Dowman, relegated him to third on that list in August.

Monga proved he wasn’t a flash in the pan earlier in the 2025/26 campaign, netting in Leicester's 2-1 defeat against Preston North End at Deepdale.

This goal made him the youngest player to score in the Championship since it rebranded in 2004-05.

He's also began the 25/26 season in impressive fashion too, bagging a goal and an assist from four appearances so far, and started in the 1-0 away win at Charlton.

Naturally, these achievements will already have European football’s elite outfits sniffing around the forward, and due to his tender age, the Foxes can set a substantial price tag for his services.

Leicester will want to keep hold of the teenager as long as they possibly can, but if they are forced into selling Monga, it will likely be for a substantial amount of money.

Louis Page

Another teenage operator at the King Power Stadium, Louis Page has started the Foxes’ last two Championship games, setting up Abdul Fatawu’s opener in the club’s 2-0 victory over Birmingham City.

At just 17 years old, the midfielder is producing mature displays well beyond his years, which has reportedly already attracted the attention of Premier League giants.

Arsenal and Manchester United were claimed to have made offers for Page in the latter stages of the transfer window by journalist Pete O'Rourke, with both proposals batted back by Leicester.

If the Foxes academy product maintains his impressive form, it’s only a matter of time before top-flight interest becomes too much for him to resist.

However, much like Monga, Leicester will make sure that cashing in on Page will be worth their while and should result in a huge transfer fee.

Abdul Fatawu

Being the most notable, high-profile talent Leicester City currently have that could be sold on for big money in the future, it is arguably a surprise that Fatawu is still plying his trade at the King Power Stadium this season.

At just 21 years of age, the Ghana international was a standout operator for Leicester City during their title-winning 2023/24 Championship campaign, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists in 40 second-tier appearances.

After spending last term on loan at Sporting CP, it seemed unlikely that Fatawu would remain an option for Cifuentes this season.

Links to sides such as Everton and Sunderland rolled on right up until deadline day, but Leicester managed to hold on to the young talent.

In the early stages of the 2025/26 campaign, the attacker has displayed his talent to full effect, scoring two goals in the Foxes’ opening four games.

It seems almost inevitable that Leicester will be forced into selling Fatawu in years to come, but he will likely rake in a huge transfer fee, which would surely soften the blow.

Alongside Monga and Page, the King Power Stadium side have a great source of capital to cash in on, which could help reshape the side to become top-flight regulars once again.
