Leicester City forward Chossenotte joins FC Fleury 91 | OneFootball

Leicester City have announced the news that forward Shana Chossenotte has joined French Arkema Première Ligue club FC Fleury 91 on a permanent deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the transfer via an official club press release from The Foxes last night.

It has been reported that the French club have paid an undisclosed fee to secure the 20-year-old’s services.

Chossenotte joined Leicester City from Stade de Reims last summer. She signed a three-year deal at The King Power Stadium and linked-up with former boss Amandine Miquel. Chossenotte had been with Stade de Reims for seven years having joined the club’s academy system back in 2017.  The forward graduated to the senior team in 2021.

In her time at Leicester City, Chossenotte made 21 appearances for the club in all competitions. She helped The Foxes to record their highest-ever points tally in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season. The French youth international’s game time was limited at certain periods due to some niggling injuries.

Chossenotte joins an FC Fleury 91 side that won their opening game of the new Arkema Première Ligue season last weekend. They defeated Montpellier HSC 2-1 away from home. Chossenotte could make her FC Fleury 91 debut against Paris FC next time out.
