Leicester City have signed Hibernian centre-back Warren O'Hora on a three-year deal, their 14th and final addition of the summer, reuniting him with Russell Martin.

The 27-year-old previously worked with Martin at MK Dons before moving to Hibernian in 2024. According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, the move adds depth to Martin's defence.

O'Hora is the second centre-back through the door this window after 19-year-old Ilari Kangasniemi arrived from Inter Turku just over a week ago. He has been named in the squad for the last two games.

Harry Souttar has started all four League One fixtures and Luke Thomas has partnered him for the past two. Leicester recorded two clean sheets with that pairing, including Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Tom Cleverley's Plymouth Argyle.

After that victory, Martin discussed O'Hora and John Lundstram, described as the second of three deadline-day arrivals. He said he expected both to train on Wednesday ahead of this weekend's meeting with Oxford United, while cautioning that deadline day can be tight and they would have to wait and see.

Martin said their experience would aid a young group, that Lundstram offers a needed midfield option, and that both have won things at good levels. He praised their character, noted his past work with O'Hora and described Lundstram as hungry after last season's promotion to the Premier League, calling it a big coup.
