Lens aiming to sign El Chadaille Bitshiabu on loan from RB Leipzig | OneFootball

According to a report from Sky Germany, RC Lens are interested in signing El Chadaille Bitshiabu (21) on loan from RB Leipzig before the end of the summer transfer window. The French defender could be set to return to his homeland before the window slams shut.

After expressing their initial interest in the 21-year-old, Les Sang et Or have entered into negotiations with the Bundesliga club over the potential temporary transfer of the young Frenchman. Bitshiabu would be interested in a move to Lens given he would be able to return to his homeland and play in the UEFA Champions League.

Lens need Leipzig to make financial concessions

Despite the Ligue 1 club’s interest, in order for a deal to be found, Leipzig would need to make financial concessions so that an agreement can be reached. It remains to be seen whether the Red Bull outfit are willing to negotiate, as they are reportedly preferring a permanent transfer rather than a loan move.
