RC Lens are working on a loan for RB Leipzig centre-back El Chadaille Bitshiabu as they seek cover after Malang Sarr’s exit and Samson Baidoo’s long-term injury.

According to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 club have stepped up their pursuit late in the window. He is open to the move.

Bitshiabu is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2029.
