Angelo Fulgini (29) is currently on loan away from RC Lens and he is not expected to return to the Ligue 1 club, as per a report from L’Équipe.

Fulgini is currently on loan at Saudi Pro League club Al-Taawoun, who currently sit fifth in the table. The attacking midfielder is having a strong season in the Gulf State, where he has three goals and nine assists in 18 matches in all competitions.

However, he is not expected to remain at the club beyond the end of his current loan deal, L’Équipe understands. Instead, Fulgini is set for another move to a different destination in the Middle East.

There are currently talks between Lens and Al-Jazira, based in the United Arab Emirates. Those talks concern a permanent deal for the player, who, over the course of his career, has racked up 218 appearances in Ligue 1 during spells at the likes of Lens, Valenciennes, and SCO Angers. Fulgini’s current deal with Lens runs until the end of next season.
