Lens dismantled Lyon 4-0 on Sunday in Décines-Charpieu to stay second in Ligue 1, end a five-match away winless run and halt the hosts' three-match home streak.
In the 20th minute Wesley Said swept in from the left after Kyllian Antonio's pass. Said struck again (32.) via Amadou Haidara's through ball, before Florian Sotoca finished a fast break in the first minute of first half stoppage time from Florian Thauvin's assist.
After the restart Thauvin added a fourth (53.), latching onto Andrija Bulatović's through pass to slot into the bottom corner.
Mathieu Gorgelin saved smartly from Endrick and Afonso Moreira as Les Gones pushed to respond. Roman Yaremchuk then rattled the bar (58.) for the hosts.
Les Gones saw plenty of the ball, posting 55% possession and 20 corners but only four shots on target. Lens were ruthless, scoring with all four of their attempts on target.
Les Gones remain fourth in the Champions League qualification place. Lens face Nice in the Coupe de France final next.
