Lyon will be without four defenders for Saturday's Ligue 1 opener at Toulouse, kick-off 20:45. Moussa Niakhaté, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Abner Vinicius and Ruben Kluivert miss out.

According to L'Équipe, the quartet are not included in Paulo Fonseca's travelling squad for the trip to Haute-Garonne.

Niakhaté skipped Friday's full session, staying in the gym after taking a knock to an ankle at Fenerbahçe on Tuesday. The OL head coach had sounded reassuring about his situation, while the other three took part in training.

Pavel Sulc has been called up. He is over a knee issue that sidelined him for the first three matches of the season.

Nicolas Tagliafico is also in the squad, returning after his holidays following the World Cup final.
