Lens beat Rennes 3-1 at Stade Bollaert-Delelis to climb above Paris Saint-Germain and return to the Ligue 1 summit, despite Ruben Aguilar's dismissal.
In the eighth minute, Estéban Lepaul ran onto Arnaud Nordin's through ball and finished low to put the visitors ahead. Lepaul now has 10 Ligue 1 goals this season, third in the scoring list.
Odsonne Edouard levelled from the centre of the box after a precise pass from Ruben Aguilar (41.).
After the restart, Aguilar glanced in a header from Florian Thauvin's delivery to turn the game around (54.).
Moments later, Aguilar received a second yellow and was sent off (56.).
Allan Saint-Maximin came on just past the hour and sealed it with a low strike from range on a fast break, set up by goalkeeper Robin Risser (78.).
Rennes lost Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal to injury before the half-hour, with Alidu Seidu introduced.
Rennes registered 13 attempts but hit the target only once. Lens edged possession at 51.6%.
