RC Lens manager Pierre Sage features on Crystal Palace’s shortlist to replace Oliver Glasner, as per a report from the BBC.
Sage has worked wonders since arriving at Lens over the summer. In his debut season at the club, he has Lens in the title race. With just three games remaining, Les Sang et Or are six points behind Paris Saint-Germain. The two teams must still face each other before the end of the campaign. His good work at the Stade Bollaert has not gone unnoticed.
Glasner, having won the FA Cup last season and having guided Crystal Palace to the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League this season, is set to leave at the end of the season, as he has already confirmed.
The Premier League side have drawn up a shortlist to replace the Austrian. Andoni Iraola sits atop that shortlist, which also features Coventry City’s Frank Lampard, Sean Dyche, Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank, and Sage.
