Leonardo Jardim is stepping up Flamengo’s preparations for Sunday’s Botafogo derby, part of the 25th round of the Brasileirão.

The club said the squad will train at Ninho do Urubu on Thursday 27 from 10:00 Brasília time, followed by a press conference, with the speaker yet to be confirmed.

On Saturday 22, Flamengo went ahead through Pedro in the first half against Cruzeiro. Nine minutes into the second period, Arroyo levelled.

Out of the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo next play on Sunday 30 at 16:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã. Rede Globo will show the match live on free-to-air, with GE TV on YouTube and Premiere pay-per-view also carrying it.
