Levante are closing in on the signing of Israeli left-footed winger Tai Abed from PSV Eindhoven.

According to Superdeporte, the 21-year-old, who holds a Spanish passport, is expected to formalise his contract in the coming hours, with a deal envisaged to run until June 2029 and a small fee payable to the Dutch club.

Abed joined PSV in 2021 after coming through Hapoel Tel Aviv’s academy, and made his senior debut in the Dutch Cup in December 2025.

This season he has been a standout for their reserve side, playing 19 matches with seven goals and four assists.

Born in Tel Aviv, he was part of Israel’s under-20 team that finished third at the 2023 World Cup, knocking out Brazil in the quarter-finals before losing to eventual champions Uruguay, whose squad included current Levante player Allan Matturro.

Following the arrival of Ugo Raghouber for midfield, this would be Luís Castro’s second signing. Kareem Tunde has stepped up from the B team, and Paco Cortés has returned from a loan at Cultural Leonesa.
