Pierre, 28, has 33 caps and previously played for Dunkerque from 2019 to 2023 and Avranches in 2023-2024.

He has been replaced in the squad by defender Garven Metusala, a Haiti and Canada dual national who plays for Switchbacks FC in the US second tier, based in Colorado.

The 26-year-old, who has 15 caps, will join a Group C campaign that pits Haiti against Brazil, Morocco and Scotland.
