Matchday 14 of the Tunisian championship wrapped up without a winner, as the derby between Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Club Africain ended in a goalless draw. The clash took place at Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in Radès on Sunday evening.

Throughout the match, both sides were unable to capitalize on their chances, despite several threatening attempts in front of goal. Referee Amir Loussaief blew the final whistle with the score at 0-0.

A missed penalty and Chamakh's decisive heroics

Espérance squandered their best opportunity of the night when Ivorian forward Florian Danho failed to convert a penalty in the 55th minute, thanks to a brilliant stop by goalkeeper Abdelmouhib Chamakh.

With this draw, Espérance Sportive de Tunis solidifies their position at the top of the table with 31 points, while Club Africain stays second with 28 points, keeping a three-point gap between the fierce rivals.
