Lima trains with squad and may debut for Santos against Internacional | OneFootball

Lima, announced on Friday, trained with Santos for the first time on Saturday and may make his debut against Internacional after his name was added to the Boletim Informativo Diário (BID) da CBF.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Cuca's squad wrapped up physical and tactical work at CT Rei Pelé ahead of the trip to Porto Alegre for the 26th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Fellow new signing Arthur is also registered and has been training normally, giving Cuca another option in midfield.

Gabriel Menino, Gustavo Henrique and Pepê Fermino were cleared after recent physical problems and returned to full training with the group.

Santos will be without Neymar, Barreal and Lucas Veríssimo, who sustained injuries in the Copa do Brasil quarter-final second leg against Palmeiras, and they will not be in the travelling party.

Santos are 14th on 29 points, with Internacional in the lower reaches of the table. Kick-off at Beira-Rio is at 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday.
