Liverpool Agree Bradley Barcola Deal in Principle as €128m Transfer Advances

There is obviously a huge price attached. Nobody should pretend €128m represents anything other than a major investment, and Barcola would arrive carrying expectations to match.

From a supporter’s perspective, though, the excitement is understandable.

Barcola offers pace, direct running, creativity and the ability to attack defenders aggressively. Put that alongside Liverpool’s other attacking talent and Iraola suddenly has the ingredients for a frightening forward line.

PSG signing Maghnes Akliouche also feels significant. Paris now have another outstanding attacking option, while Barcola reportedly has no intention of extending a contract containing only two years remaining.
