Liverpool find answer to massive problem in 'one-man wrecking ball'

Liverpool have a lot of problems that they still need to solve among their ranks.

The four new players that they welcomed through the Anfield doors during the summer transfer window have all had a decent impact so far but, more change needs to occur.

That is, especially if they want to start challenging for silverware once again.

However, without figuring out the answers to their issues, they're not going to be able to get anywhere near the top of the Premier League table.

So, with the January window now just a couple of months away, it would not be a surprise to see certain rumours start to gain more traction.

And, with the recent links that have emerged, some players could certainly help improve Liverpool's ranks massively.

Liverpool should try and make a move for Brian Brobbey

Liverpool's attack has been their main focus of improvement over the last couple of summer transfer windows.

Last term, Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz were both brought in and were expected to completely transform the way that the Reds performed.

However, since Isak was always injured and Wirtz failed to meet expectations, neither of them lived up to their mammoth price-tags last season.

This time around, Liverpool's fanbase were hoping for something different and, while Isak has managed to finally find his feet, he has just been sent back to L4 from international duty after he's suffered yet another injury.

And, with Hugo Ekitike also side-lined, questions have been asked about what's next for Liverpool's attack which is where Brian Brobbey comes in.

Brian Brobbey would help solve a lot of Liverpool's attacking problems

Recently, talk of Brobbey making a move to Liverpool has emerged.

The Dutchman made plenty of headlines during Sunderland's last game for the international break after he managed to bag a hat trick against Manchester City.

Indeed, the Black Cats still ended up getting beaten by the Cityzens but, the fact that the Dutchman still continued fighting proves why he's such a good player.

Alongside Liverpool's constantly injured number nines, their attack lacks a lot of physicality.

Indeed, some such as Cody Gakpo can hold the ball up if needed but, when compared to players such as Viktor Gyokeres or Erling Haaland, Liverpool do not have a match in their attack.

In a way, this could be seen as good as it means that Liverpool's forward line is fairly explosive and can often beat a man.

But, sometimes, holding the ball up and waiting for a better move is how teams win games.

Brobbey would obviously cost a decent chunk of money for the Anfield outfit to bring in due to his importance to Sunderland but, if they can negotiate a deal with Regis Le Bris, the "one-man wrecking ball" would be an excellent signing for them.
