Despite the summer transfer rumors, Real Madrid forward Rodrygo ended up staying with the club. The Brazilian was linked to a possible move to PSG, but no deal materialized.
Reports about PSG’s interest have been inconsistent. This past summer, Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé revealed that Rodrygo wasn’t on the French club’s radar this summer. However, Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that both PSG and Liverpool are monitoring him, while Tottenham Hotspur weren’t in the chase.
PSG could still become an option in the future, but whether Rodrygo eventually leaves will depend on how his role and situation at Madrid evolve in the coming months.

E-Noticies reports that Liverpool have turned their attention to Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, who could be on the move after slipping down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Spanish giants are said to be open to selling the Brazil international for around €85 million (£74 million). So far this season, the 24-year-old has started just two matches in LaLiga and one in the Champions League under Xabi Alonso.
According to a recent update from Fichajes, Real Madrid are considering a major overhaul of their attacking options and may be willing to part ways with Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo. The club reportedly sees the potential to bring in more than €350 million if both players are sold.
Both Brazilians are believed to be on a shortlist of possible departures as part of Real Madrid’s plan to reshape the front line. Still, any final decision will depend heavily on how they perform for the remainder of the campaign.
Inside the club, there’s growing concern about the inconsistency shown by Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo this season. Despite their talent and occasional standout performances, their lack of consistency has fueled internal discussions about whether a major sale could make sense before the summer transfer window.
