Luca Zidane, the Algeria international goalkeeper and son of new France coach Zinédine Zidane, has left Granada to join Leganés on a two-year contract, one year optional, in Spain's second tier.
L'Équipe reports that he had one year remaining on his Granada deal and the switch brings him closer to Madrid and his family.
After making his La Liga debut in 2017-2018, the 28-year-old has largely played in the second division, aside from a handful of top-flight outings for Rayo Vallecano in 2021-2022.
He helped Rayo earn promotion the previous season and has 10 caps for Algeria.
He becomes the second of Zidane's sons to move clubs this summer, with youngest Elyaz, 20, joining Red Star from Betis Seville.
