According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras forward Luighi has joined New York City in the United States on loan.

A standout across Palmeiras’ youth ranks, he has yet to establish himself at senior level.

Luighi has made 45 first-team appearances for Palmeiras, scoring five goals.

This season he has featured in 18 matches, finding the net twice.

He entered Palmeiras’ academy in 2016 at Under-11, progressing through the age groups before reaching the senior squad in 2024.
