Premier League new-boys Luton Town have completed the signing of midfielder Tahith Chong from Birmingham City.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a long-term deal at Kenilworth Road, moving for an undisclosed fee believed to be worth around £4m.
He becomes manager Rob Edwards’ third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Chiedozie Ogbene and Mads Andersen.
Chong, who spent two years at Birmingham after leaving Manchester United, scored four goals and registered five assists in 38 games in the Championship last season.
“In the few hours that I’ve been here I already get the feeling that it really is a family club,” Chong told the club’s official website.
“I’m a football fan, I’ve watched some games so I’ve seen how they’ve played and it shows togetherness and unity – and you can only have that if you’re a family club.
“I think that’s important because every club faces adversity – it’s not always going to be good, but if you’re a family club you stick through it together and it’s easier as a family.”
