Lyon are considering making a move for Brazilian Botafogo left-winger Jeffinho (23), according to a report from L’Equipe.
Lyon are desperately looking for attacking reinforcements. OL have loaned wantaway Cameroon international winger Karl Toko Ekambi (30) to Stade Rennais. Shakhtar loanee Matheus Tetê (22) is expected to sign for Leicester City as talks are said to be advanced for the signing of the Brazilian winger. Attacking midfielder Romain Faivre (24) is set to be loaned to Lorient.
With only three days left in the winter transfer window, Lyon need to hurry in order to bolster their attacking options. And OL may have found an easy solution with a deal being considered for versatile striker Jeffinho. The 23-year-old plays for Botafogo, a club owned by none other than new American owner John Textor. Jeffinho has scored two goals and registered three assists in 24 league games with Botafogo. Meanwhile, Lokomotiv Moscow striker Wilson Isidor (22) is expected to put pen to paper with Les Gones this Sunday.
