Lyon predicted XI v Basel: Paulo Fonseca to switch formation? | OneFootball

Following back-to-back defeats in Ligue 1, Paulo Fonseca could have a rethink as his Olympique Lyonnais side host FC Basel on Thursday evening. 

L’Équipe understands that Lyon could play with two strikers, having at times played with none this season. Martín Satriano could get the nod and play alongside Malick Fofana, who usually plays out on the wing. 

It would mean one less deep midfielder, and it could be Tyler Morton, an ever-present since the start of the campaign, who gives way. Within the midfield diamond, Khalis Merah, Mathys De Carvalho, and club captain Corentin Tolisso could all start for Lyon.

There are no fresh absentees for OL, who nonetheless remain without Rémy Descamps, Orel Managala, Ernest Nuamah, Hans Hateboer, and Rachid Ghezzal. The latter two are ineligible to feature.
