Man City looking to sign Everton's Ornella Vignola

Manchester City are reportedly interested in completing the signing of Ornella Vignola before the transfer window closes.

Clubs have until 11pm GMT to complete any deals before the start of the 2026/27 WSL season.

One of those teams still looking to reinforce is the reigning champions City, who have been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain Jennifer Echegini. There is another target for Andrée Jeglertz's team though: Everton forward Ornella Vignola.

According to journalist Emma Sanders of BBC Sport, City are pushing for a late move for the Spaniard.

Vignola joined the Toffees from Granada last summer and has impressed in her first season in England, scoring five goals across 27 appearances in all competitions.
