Man Utd complete signing of Baleba and continue left-back pursuit | OneFootball

Manchester United have completed the signing of Carlos Baleba from Brighton with the midfielder signing a contract until June 2031, with the option of a further year.

The 22-year-old’s arrival, for a fee worth £65m plus £5m in add-ons, further strengthens United’s midfield options, with the club having already brought in Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos too this summer.

United are also still keen to add a left-back before the transfer window closes.

They have been looking to strengthen in the position throughout the summer, with Alejandro Balde and Lewis Hall among their targets.

Several players could also depart the club before the window closes – with youngsters Toby Collyer, Dan Gore and Harry Amass all allowed to depart for the right offer.
