Mano Menezes will not be Grêmio head coach in 2026 and has bid farewell.
According to Globo.com, the coach was informed of the decision on Tuesday morning and later posted a farewell message.

After his exit, Grêmio are advancing in their move for Luís Castro.
Grêmio have rejected a proposal from Botafogo for a centre-back.
Grêmio and Nacional-URU are expected to start negotiations this week for Cristian Olivera. The Uruguayan club want the forward on loan, and his contract with Grêmio runs until 2027.
