Benfica assistant Ricardo Rocha was fined by the Portuguese Football Federation’s Disciplinary Council after his dismissal during the 3-1 defeat at Porto.

According to Glorioso 1904, Rocha was fined 2,040 euros, while Porto team manager Rui Correia received a 570 euro fine.

Referee Miguel Nogueira reported that the pair confronted each other outside the technical areas, and other staff had to intervene to separate them.

In a further note to the case, he said the incident amounted to direct physical confrontation between officials of opposing teams, which justified both red cards.
