Mário Branco ‘to help seal’ Rafa Silva deal with Besiktas | OneFootball

Benfica and Besiktas are close to an agreement for 32-year-old Rafa Silva after Mário Branco held face-to-face talks in Türkiye.

Record reports that while the deal is not done, the sides are nearing full agreement, with Branco clarifying Benfica’s intentions to Serdal Adali.

Branco has a strong relationship with the Besiktas president and intends to use it. Benfica do not want talks to drag, aiming to settle the matter this week.

An agreement could be reached at around seven million euros, far below the initial 15 million. Benfica would prefer five million plus two million rather than a flat seven million.

This season for Besiktas, Rafa Silva, valued at five million euros, has played 16 competitive matches. He has featured in 10 league games, four in the Conference League and two in Europa League qualifying, totalling 1,360 minutes, with five goals and three assists.
