Mario Gila set for Milan medical, Lorenzo Calvani ‘to join’ AC Milan

AC Milan are closing in on Mario Gila from Lazio, with teenager Lorenzo Calvani also poised to follow.

The clubs reached a €30 million agreement earlier this week for Gila. La Lazio Siamo Noi reported he told supporters he would be leaving in the next few days.

Gianluca Di Marzio expects the 25-year-old to travel to Milan on Thursday, undergo a medical on Friday and then sign.

Sport Mediaset reports Lazio have agreed to sell the 18-year-old left-back. He is expected to link up with Milan Futuro, the second team that will compete in Serie D, Italy’s fourth tier. The fee is put at about two and a half million.

Calvani is regarded as one of Lazio’s most promising prospects.
