Marseille have renewed their partnership with « Sublime Côte d'Ivoire » on a three-year agreement running to 2029. An announcement is expected shortly.

According to L'Équipe, the initial tie-up launched in 2023 expired in June, and a short pre-season camp in Abidjan in mid-July helped revive negotiations. The visit doubled as a promotional tour and reassured local officials after disappointment with Marseille’s involvement in the first cycle.

The renewal was rubber-stamped on 17 July at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

The « Sublime Côte d'Ivoire » patch, previously on the shorts, will move to the shirt sleeve, bringing greater visibility and a presence in European competition.

One home Ligue 1 match will be dedicated to the partnership, and the first team are due to return to Côte d'Ivoire in coming seasons, with details to be determined.
