Marseille's Derek Cornelius could miss three months after Canada training hip injury | OneFootball

Derek Cornelius sustained a hip injury in Canada training on Wednesday and is not expected to be available before early next year. He was taken to hospital.

According to L'Équipe, the 28-year-old centre-back will not require surgery, but his lay-off could stretch to around three months.

He started against Besiktas on 17 September.

Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi injured his meniscus at Monaco on 30 August. He is now fit to train at La Commanderie after opting against surgery.

Geoffrey Kondogbia, who also went off injured at Louis-II, should resume sessions in early October.

OM are not concerned about Amine Harit, with tests indicating mainly muscular discomfort for the Moroccan. He is not expected to be out for long.
