Crystal Palace have enquired about Marseille and Netherlands international midfielder Quinten Timber (25), according to L’Equipe. The outlet understands that the Eagles, who have lost their Premier League opener against Everton (2-0), are expected to make concrete steps to sign Arsenal full-back Jurriën Timber’s twin brother. Crystal Palace are looking for midfield reinforcements, and the Marseille man is high on their list of targets.
L’Equipe reports that Quinten Timber, who was part of Ronald Koeman’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad for the Netherlands, dreams of playing for a Premier League side. Timber only joined Marseille from Feyenoord last winter for a cut-price €4,5m transfer fee. He featured 16 times for Les Phocéens, with which he’s under contract until 2030. The outlet understands that Portuguese champions FC Porto are no longer in the running to sign Timber, who is valued south of €20m by Marseille.
