Italy international Mateo Retegui will miss the rest of the 2025-26 season, Al-Qadsiah said in a statement on Friday night.
On Tuesday he scored and supplied an assist in the 2-2 draw with Al-Shabab, before going off injured late on.
Subsequent medical assessments revealed a distal tibia fracture, and he is due to undergo surgery in the coming days.
Signed last summer to lead the club's attack, the Italian has 16 goals in 28 Saudi Pro League appearances, placing him among the division's most effective strikers.
It is a significant blow for Brendan Rodgers' side in the run-in. Al-Qadsiah sit fourth on 62 points and continue to aim for the podium, which brings AFC Champions League Elite qualification.
