"People have been talking about Hinestroza for six months. It is almost a fact that he will be a Boca player and he will make the difference," said Mauricio Cuero.

The Colombian was speaking to DSPORTS Radio's Cómo Te Va.

"I played with Borja at Olimpo and for Colombia Under-20, we are the same age group. Right now it could happen, Boca need a striker. If the opportunity comes he will take it without any problem," he said.

"These days he gets a lot of criticism for not moving, but he is always facing goal. At some point he will recover what he had when he arrived at River, he scored a lot. It is a question of continuing to create chances," Cuero added.

"Perhaps his spell at River had run its course."
