The Brazilian Football Confederation on Thursday published right-back Mayke’s contract termination with Santos, one week after he took legal action to end the deal. He was already out of the squad.

According to his representative, the club owes two months of wages, three of FGTS, five of image rights and seven of signing-on fees, prompting the unilateral move to rescind after failing to reach an agreement with the club.

Santos had not commented at the time of publication. Mayke had been training separately while negotiating his exit and was not in the plans of Cuca and his staff. His original deal ran until 31 December 2027.

The 33-year-old is the second player to secure a court-ordered termination at Santos. Tiquinho Soares was recently released by the club after delays in image-rights payments and wages.

Signed last year after leaving Palmeiras, Mayke made 20 appearances for Santos.
