AZ and NAC Breda drew 3-3 at AFAS Stadion, a result that drops AZ to seventh in the Eredivisie while NAC remain 17th.

Sven Mijnans put AZ ahead in the eighth minute after a set piece, finishing from Troy Parrott's lay-off. Mateo Chávez squeezed in a second (12.). Parrott then went off injured and made way for Mexx Meerdink (37.).

After the restart, Kamal Sowah departed hurt and NAC introduced Jayden Candelaria (54.). Jordy Clasie then struck the bar for AZ (57.), moments before substitute Weslley Patati came on (57.).

Moussa Soumano began the fightback with a close-range header (61.), then drilled in from distance to level (71.), with Cherrion Valerius and Fredrik Jensen supplying the assists.

Juho Talvitie completed the turnaround with a rising effort (89.), but Meerdink equalised from Patati's cut-back a minute later (90.).

AZ registered 16 attempts, 10 on target, and 54.6% possession. NAC posted 17 attempts, 11 on target.
